Dance schools

Dancing classes are popular choices for children in our area so it's important to find a good school. Here Local Mums give their recommendations.

"My three-year-old daughter, Amie, attended her first ever princess ballet class with Miss Hope at
Hope School of Dance and from the first moment was engaged and happy. Miss Hope made the class not only fun and exciting for the children but an adventure! I myself found Miss Hope to be endearing and with a passion for her vocation which was extremely refreshing. This obviously had a positive effect on the children who attended her classes. We would most definitely come again!"
Amanda Bailey, Local Mum of Caitlin, aged eight and Amie, aged three years

Hope School of Dance
My name is Miss Hope and I am the principal and dance teacher at Hope School of Dance,
where pupils can expect the highest standards of training at affordable cost.

I believe that students have to be multi-faceted in today’s society. It is in every student's best interest to be highly skilled in as many areas as possible to increase the chance of success in a competitive industry.

Focus will be placed on achieving excellence, however having fun and enjoying the process will remain a top priority. Classes in ballet, tap, modern jazz, street dance, drama and modelling will be based on the The British Theatre Dance Association syllabus. BTDA examinations are recognised by the Council of Dance Education and Training.

Our screen acting drama classes are for students with star quality. Screen acting classes will give children with the talent to be on stage or screen, skills to shine at auditions. Pupils will be taught and filmed by professionals in the industry who have worked with top directors and casting agents.

Hope School of Dance is a unique school in that we also focus on the emotional well being of all pupils. We will provide every student with positive encouragement while ensuring each student's confidence in the ability to learn at their own pace., while teaching them honesty, integrity and kindness. We believe that these skills are important as students may enjoy dance as a hobby, as a lifelong source of artistic expression or as a professional career. We will also promote a healthy body image so that every pupil feels confident in everything they do.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all that join the HSD family and I ‘Hope’ that you enjoy your time with us.

At Hope School of Dance we offer the best tuition at affordable prices.
